Robert Zawadzki | Film and Stage Actor

Robert Zawadzki is a Polish film and stage director and actor.

He trained at the Academy of Theatre Arts, Wroclaw, Poland (2004).

He also completed postgraduate studies of Cultural Management

at the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw (2014).

He graduated from Film Directing Faculty at Gdynia Film School (2022).

In 2023 he received his PhD from Lodz Film School.

He works as an Assistant Professor at Academy of Theatre Arts in Krakow (branch in Wroclaw).

Robert has collaborated with numerous Polish, European and American Theatres including Studio Theatre, Warsaw; InVitro Pre-Premiere Stage, Lublin; Modjeska Theatre, Legnica; Dramatic Theatre, Opole; Traverse Theatre, Edinburgh; Liryc Theatre, Belfast, Soho Theatre, London; Irish Repertory Theatre and Public Theatre, New York.

He was honoured in the "On The Top" category in a " List of Theatrical Actors" in Poland in 2010;

In 2016, he recieved a scholarship from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage of Poland for young talented artists.

He made his debut as a stage director in 2012 with Games in the Backyard (Dramatic Theatre, Opole).

His film directing credits include short films as "Mother's Day", "The Watchman", "The Twine", music and commercial videos.
